Developing econometric models for climate-smart agriculture and climate-smart irrigation is a critically important service that we provide. In order to reliably replicate and generalize models and successful experiences of farmers, it is important to provide science-based reports.
We have a great deal of experience in econometrics. We interpret both qualitative and quantitative data. We collect reliable and valid quantitative data taking care not to allow sample bias, and examine and analyze data with robust econometric tools such as multiple-regression analysis. We develop questionnaires and conduct thorough interviews as part of our qualitative analysis. We integrate salient case-studies into all our analyses and do not hesitate to make recommendations.
We present our analyses in parsimonious, functional and thorough reports. A particular advantage we have in developing reports and recommendations is our hands-on experience in agriculture. We are well aware of the real-world constraints and challenges farmers face when recommendations call for fundamental changes in water management. We have been there and done that!
